Listed below are some useful names, pictures and phone numbers. We strongly advise guests to read our Things to Know Page before their arrival. We strongly advise that guests who are coming on holiday print off information about what they would like to see as well as information about the places they would like to visit. We suggest that guests bring an up to date guide book which are always available at the departure airport. Information is available at the villas, but the information on the website is much more detailed and up to date. |
  A detailed map is essential and any good guide book on Turkey will have one. It is much easier to get a guide book in the UK than in Turkey. On arrival you will be met at the Villa, guests are given a Welcome Hamper with tea, Milk, soft drinks (in the fridge) and some light snacks. Guests can upgrade their Welcome Hamper (charges apply). Usually most guests arrive at night or very early in the morning, and when this is the case, and guests prefer, we try to ensure guests can go to bed as soon as they can. In this case we limit ourselves to "Security and Health & Safety issues", and return the following day to explain everything else in more detail . Each guest Group is given a folder on arrival with lots if information about their villa as well as whose who and what do do type information. Guests normally come to the restaurant at 10.00am on their first morning and have breakfast. Sid normally gives a short talk, answers questions and sorts out care hire, trips and shopping ect. When guests leave after breakfast somebody will normally go back to the villa with them, and show them everything: How DVD's, Washing Machine, Satellite, pool lights etc. Experience has taught us that by Tuesday almost all guests are happy, relaxed and settled in, but will often have questions or need help and advice. We give guests a questionnaire to make sure everything is OK and follow up and problems. We try not to be intrusive, and respect out guests privacy, but at the same time we want our guests to enjoy their holiday to the full. Help is always at hand. |
We aim to make every holiday special for each of our guests. Not just a special holiday for a family but for each member of each family. We offer not just a professional level of service but a friendly easy relaxed welcome. Most guests arrive very late at night. When you arrive there will always be somebody to greet you. Often with a call from the driver doing the transfer from the airport, the kettle will be boiled and the lights on in the pool. After greeting you, offering you a welcome hamper and a quick what's-what and how's-that-work we leave you to enjoy your 1st night. Seljuk, known to his friends as Sid, who normally live in Milton Keynes, spends form April to November in Yesiloz. He speaks perfect English and is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The people working at the Villa are mature people and are full of friendly advice, guidance on local events and places of interest. Whose WhoNesrin Durmaz Nesrin is my sister in Law. Her English is limited but she has a heart of gold, she is a great cook and will go the extra mile to help out. Nesrin runs the restaurant and looks after the Villas. Her husband is Ocan, her daughter is Simgay and her son is Volkan. Her mobile phone number is 00 90 (0) 537 461 0588 
Ocan Durmaz Ocan is my Brother in Law. His English is limited too but is very clever, and well educated, he runs the bar at the restaurant, and is in charge of pool maintenance at all the villa pools. His wife is Nesrin, his daughter is Simgay and his son is Volkan. His mobile phone number is 00 90 (0) 536 653 5963 
Seljuk Ocal Better known as Sid. He is "In Charge" in Turkey and his is the mobile you should ring, because even if he is not available, whoever is, will have the mobile. He will be available most of the season, his English is near perfect, and UK based normally, but for this season he will be at the Villas. His mobile is 00 90 (0) 536 653 5963. He will be staying at the Restaurant. When he is there he will be the best one to talk to. When he is not there, whoever is in charge will have his mobile. 
Attilla Ocal Attilla is my father in Law. He is Sid and Nesrin's dad. His English is limited but he usually does the transfers and is very very helpful. He looks after the pool and we get more letter of compliment about him for his helpfulness than everybody else except Nesrin. He lives next door to the Yesiloz Villa. His wife is Saliha. Saliha Ocal Saliha is married to Attilla and she is very helpful. She is Simgay's and Vulkan's Granny. She speaks better English than Attilla, but Attilla is the "Boss" Vulkan Durmaz Vulkan is Nesrin's son and speaks the best English. He is a good contact to find out what to do or see or simply to translate. He is going to University but is around most of the Summer. His mobile phone number is 00 90 (0) 535 305 5867 Selvi Selvi is married to Muhitin and she is our housekeeper and does the Pampering Service Selma Selma is Selvi's sister and works in the villas and in the restaurant. Muhittin Is our gardener and he also looks after the pools 
David Gilmartin David is the UK Contact Simgay Durmaz Simgay is Vulcan's sister and great with kids. 
We have a welcome pack that gives useful phone numbers and contacts and things to see and do etc. On guest's first morning they can come for breakfast at the restaurant and somebody, usually Sid or Nesrin will have a chat each guest party. Breakfasts start at £2 for children and £2.50 for adults There is a program of events at the restaurant with things to do for guests of all ages. They will be happy to help with trips to Supermarkets or the Nitty Gritty things that people need help with from time to time. We also offer a range of pampering services including babysitting and Pampering Services to those who want to be pampered. Our Pampering services are just one of the many ways we have added enjoyment. Most of our regulars book it each time they return to us. |
