Do you want to Rent a Turkish Villa for a Turkish villa rental in 2008, then please have a look around our website or ask for one of our Brochures

All our villas are within the Village of Yesiloz and 20 minutes from Alanya.

The the Village of Yesiloz is quite quiet, with a few shops, a mosque and a lots of sandy beaches within easy walking. Because there is so much fresh water, the land is mainly farmed and there is always fresh vegetables and fruit for sale.

Alanya is the main Sea side Town on the South Coast of Turkey. It is a modern city with a large cultural heritage. There is a Large Harbour visited by Mediterranean Cruise Ships as well as a Marina for Smaller Boats. It offers a choice of simple authentic Turkish Restaurants, 5* dining at some of the best hotels in Turkey as well as McDonalds and Burger King. There is a choice of Water Parks as well as a Castle dating back more than 2000 years. Alanya is a city which offers things for people of all ages and interests.

There things to see and do for guests of all ages and interests, whether you want to spend time in a Water Park or Museum, you want to visit historical sites or go on a boat trip, whether you want to go Water Skiing or Diving or simply drink cocktails, enjoy fine dining or dancing the night away.

We strongly advise that guests who are coming on holiday print off information about what they would like to see as well as information about the places they would like to visit. We suggest that guests bring an up to date guide book which are always available at the departure airport.

Information is available at the villas, but the information on the website is much more detailed and up to date. A detailed map is essential and any good guide book on Turkey will have one. It is much easier to get a guide book in the UK than in Turkey.

Things to do locally near the villa's

Guest Activity Program We offer can help with arranging trips and activities.

6 of the villas are within 5 minutes walk of each other. The other one is 5 minutes by car or bus (Dolmus)

Local Bus Service

There is an excellent local bus service all year round. They go every 15 minutes or so to Alanya and in the summer go from about 6.00am till 10.pm at night.

It costs about £1 to go to Alanya, and about 50p to Gazipasa. The bus drivers are very helpful and will stop along the way. A small tip is always appreciated.

Sid will have details of times etc. They buses run along the road next to the beach so are within easy walking distance. This is cheap reliable service which local use.

 Local Beaches

The local beaches are clean and certainly effluent free, in addition there are almost empty as well. Some are sand, some have small pebbles and some are rocky. They do not have any organized activities, but are ideal for people who want to lie on a sandy beach.

Fishermen are usually found most days casting off from the shore line. Although experience is that the rocky ones are the best for fishing off.

There are lots of beaches and coves along the road, and it is very easy to get a passing Dolmus. There are small restaurants and they have deckchairs to hire. The food is basic and very cheap.

For more information about the Local Beaches.

The beaches are no more than 10 minutes walk from the villa's unless you walk very slow.

The local shops in Yesiloz are about 5 minutes from the villas. They have most basic items, and are very reasonably priced. and the people who work there are very friendly.

The local shops sell a selection of meat and everything guests need. Because most of the customers are  locals the prices are very cheap. They sell magnum ice creams, Pringles crisps, Coke, Pantene Shampoo....

The local shop have fresh bread, fruit and vegetables every day.

Please also look at Shopping on Holiday. There are three local shops which sell bread and basic foods and drinks including fresh bread, milk, coffee, margarine, butter, sugar, tea, cheese, chicken, biscuits, rice, pasta, cooking oil, fruit, vegetables, sweets, coke and beer. The prices are cheap  though the choice is limited. However even more choice can be found in Mahmutlar and Gazipasa which are less than 15 minutes away and serviced by regular local bus services. The best shops are found in Alanya where you can buy almost everything you would need.

Fishing and eating Fish Locally

Fish are caught locally and though there are no fish shops most of the local restaurants catch their own fish and would be happy to sell you the fish for you to cook. Normally they will tell you the best time to come back for the next catch. Some of them will even invite you to go along but you should make sure you have a lifejacket.

The fish is wonderful and there are three fish restaurants selling  fresh dishes within 3 km. The menu depends on the catch, and there is always fresh salads, bread and fruit and of coarse beer.

For more information about Eating fish or catching Fish look at our Fish Pages.

Places to meet the locals

In Yesiloz there are lots of places where the locals meet, in fact anywhere there a tea being made. They are happy for you to join in. Often they are there all day or so it seems and you can join in their card or board games. Almost all the people meeting as such are men and this is not a place to chat up the local ladies.

The Local Village

Yesiloz is a wonderful base for a family holiday. Guests are close to almost everything. Have a look at some pictures of the local beaches and views.

Yesiloz is a large thriving village on the main road. There are shops and most of the locals are farmers or work in Alanya. There are lots of small shops within easy walking, and there is a bus stop with frequent buses to Alanya. We are on the bus route for Gazipasa, a major town, and so there are lots of buses.

The local shops have most of the day to day items and  because they are mainly for the local, they are very cheap and very friendly.

Eating in Gazipasa: Doing it like the locals.
Gazipasa is the place for authentic Turkish food. Here men will eat all day, sitting at tables all along the streets, They can be served from restaurants with a menu or freshly made Borek from little stall doted all around the town.

There is a barber and they will do massage, shave and hair cut for about £3.

There is a weekly market in Yesiloz and it is certainly worth a visit, simply to see what a country market looks and feels like.

Guests should enjoy a glass of "Chi" tea if they are asked, it is free and lovely.

The locals are friendly and the one we know the best is Memhet and he lives there with his sons and daughters and another family who work the fields and greenhouses. They grow all sorts of fruit and vegetables which can normally be bought for next to nothing.

Watching the women and daughters making bread on the outside stove is wonderful and even though you may not speak the language you will soon realize you are in the company to genuinely want to extend a welcome to you.

There are two local mosques where you can visit or pray. All the locals are Moslems and you should respect their place of worship, otherwise they are very western and welcoming.

There are lots of things to do a little further a field.

There is a local bus service which will take you to Alanya in one direction and Gazipasa in the other. Both are well worth a visit.

The drive to Gazipasa is wonderful. There is the old historical sit of Iotepe on the way. The wealth of archaeology, the stunning forested coast line and impossibly blue sea, the gentle friendliness of the people who run the road site restaurants and the delicious cuisine mean that even before you end the 10km journey you have had a day out.

You can also go inland but you will need a car but a visit up into the local mountains is well worth a day out.

What you must understand is that most of the locals have very little money to spend and this is useful because it means that almost all the local amenities are unspoilt and such things as beaches are free. In addition whereas in Alanya there are lots of trips on Boats etc and good quality cruises etc in the more rural part local will happily take you along fishing for free in much the same way as you would never thing of charging a stranger on a train to sit and talk to you.

Eating out

Guests can eat locally within walking or go to Alanya to eat or visit many of the restaurants along the coast road.
